Created The Real-Time Crime Center and installed over 494 cameras across the city and is assisting law enforcement with investigations.
Implemented community oriented-policing strategies, creating partnerships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
Upgraded the internet-based technology available to first responders, shifting from radio connection to First Net squad care internet.
Implemented a 6 percent raise for police officers and firefighters. Also budgeted for vehicle and equipment packages for each department. Secured a 15 percent raise for officers in 2022.
